#7: Everyone Used Typewriters
In the pre-digital world, the rhythmic clack of typewriter keys echoed through offices and classrooms alike. For Boomers, the typewriter wasn’t just a tool—it was the backbone of written communication. Assignments, résumés, letters, and reports were all hammered out one key at a time.

Mistakes meant white-out, correction tape, or starting over entirely. There were no multiple tabs, font changes, or easy edits—just ink, ribbon, and paper. Schools even offered typing classes, where speed and accuracy earned you status.
