#18: The Creation of a Cartoon Inspired by the Show
After I Dream of Jeannie ended, the magic lived on in animated form. In 1973, Hanna-Barbera launched a Saturday morning cartoon simply titled Jeannie. Though Barbara Eden didn’t reprise her role, the character retained her bubbly spirit and magical charm.

The cartoon followed a teenage surfer named Corey who stumbles upon Jeannie’s bottle and becomes her new master. Together, they faced off against high school bullies, nosy rivals, and comic misadventures, all with Jeannie’s spells often going hilariously awry.
