#42: When Paths Cross
Meeting and making new friends on an international vacation is always fun. You meet someone in the same situation as yourself, chat over dinner, and part ways. Sometimes you keep in touch but usually, you don’t expect to ever hear from or see them again. That’s what this guy’s family was expecting when they made friends with a random guy in their travel group.
They had taken a really small and intimate excursion to a tiny village in Portugal. The group of tourists was only about 15 people. They ate lunch and had a great afternoon with a solo traveler and then they parted ways. One year later, this guy was back home in Brazil but on vacation at a resort. He noticed someone familiar in line and realized it was the split traveler! This was such a wild coincidence because the traveler wasn’t from Brazil and our storyteller was on vacation from out of town. It’s always super cool when timelines cross by chance like this!
