Alex Was Behaving Strangely
Alex sat in the waiting room with a restless energy he couldn’t suppress. His leg bounced up and down, and his fingers tapped nervously against his knee. Though the room was quiet, filled with others lost in their thoughts, his tension stood out.

His eyes were glued to the hallway door, willing it to open. Every second dragged longer than the last. He shifted in his seat repeatedly, unable to find comfort or stillness. No one around him seemed to notice, but inside, Alex was unraveling, and he didn’t seem able—or willing—to hide it anymore.
